ROC February 1999

February 1999

/ Lucerne Dry Lake

2 flights, 726 N-sec burned

My dad's workmate Dave Guebert came out to the launch to see what this whole "high power rocketry" thing was about. The weather was cool and calm, and we managed to successfully put up a few rockets to illustrate. A good day!

Flight 1: iROC, AT I284

The iROC flies so well on this motor, we chose to do it again in February. After one misfire, the rocket lifted off the pad, cocked off the rod a bit to the west, and raced to apogee. Recovery was nominal.

Altitude: 2,823 ft

Flight 2: Graduator, AT G64

Good flight.
I like to design, build, and fly rockets. PostFlight started as a project to help me keep track of them. Now I've opened it up so you can follow along, too.
I fly with:
Indiana Rocketry, Inc. MDRA
Hey! What are you doing down here? The rocket stuff (yea, it's © 2024 David Reese) is up there!
