1 flight, 1514 N-sec burned

The January launch was scrubbed for lack of waiver, so February was the first opportunity to get crackin' for the new year. This was also my first launch as Wildman West; I had acquired my BLM permit literally hours before launch day. The response was amazing: I was overwhelmed with support and new friends! I managed to squeeze one flight in for the day too. An auspicious start for the year.

Flight 1: Wildman 3, AT K695

I had prepped the Wildman the night before but didn't know what to fly in it. After an intensely fun day of selling as Wildman West, I had a K695R left over. I'd never flown this motor before, so it was a natural combination. The rocket jumped off the pad on a long red flame and both apogee and main events were nominal. A great flight to start the year, and I'm keeping this rocket's K streak alive!

I like to design, build, and fly rockets. PostFlight started as a project to help me keep track of them. Now I've opened it up so you can follow along, too.
I fly with:

Hey! What are you doing down here? The rocket stuff (yea, it's © 2017 David Reese) is up there!
